Scotland has announced the 14 athletes that will form their Judo squad competing in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Judo last appeared at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester 2002, where Scottish Judoka won an impressive 10 medals, making it Scotland's most successful sport at those Games.
Team Manager and Head Coach, David Somerville won a Silver in Manchester, and so brings some useful experience to his squad.
Only two other squad members have experienced the Commonwealth Games, Sarah Clark, who won Silver in Manchester, and John Buchanan.
This was one of the toughest selection processes undertaken, "We believe that the team contains an accomplished balance of experience and youth with realistic opportunities for medal success. We appreciate the work undertaken by all partners in putting our team together and we look forward to what will be a great Commonwealth games for Team Scotland,” commented Somerville.
