A FORMER Omagh martial arts teacher has pleaded guilty to defrauding a woman out of £15,000.
Dannio Alchino (44), with an address now in Tildarg Avenue in Belfast, appeared at Dungannon Crown Court on Tuesday to be arraigned on three counts of fraud by false representation
Formerly of Knockgreenan Drive, Omagh, Alchino previously ran a number of Shaolin Kung Fu classes in Omagh, Stewartstown and Dungannon. He was originally charged in respect of the fraud offences in May 2011, however an arrest warrant was issued for Alchino in September 2011 after he failed to attend court.
The warrant was not executed until May this year, when Alchino was arrested in Belfast following information received by police.
When he appeared back in court, it was heard that the 44-year-old was working under a new identity ‘Marco Morello’ in a salon in Belfast which provided botox and fillers.
